App Health

GenMB tests your app after every change and shows you any error it finds, with a one-click fix through the chat.

How It Surfaces

When you open an app you own, or after the chat changes it, GenMB loads the preview in a test browser. If the app is really broken, the editor shows one short banner with a plain summary, such as "Your app shows a blank page", and two choices: Fix now, or Not now. Details shows the raw errors. The banner waits until the preview has started and never appears while the chat is working.

The banner is only for the app's owner. It never changes anything by itself.

Fix Now

1

Click Fix now

The chat opens with the error already filled in and starts fixing it. The banner shows Fixing in chat while it works. Because GenMB found the problem, the fix is free for up to two tries on the same problem; the button says Free while it is.
2

Read what changed

The chat explains the fix and saves a new version. You can undo it from the message or from Version History.
3

GenMB checks again

The new version is tested the same way. If the error is gone, the banner briefly says Fixed. If two fixes do not clear it, the banner and the chat lead with going back to your last working version, with another attempt as the second choice.

Turning Checks Off

Not now hides the banner until a different error shows up, so the same error never nags you again. Stop checking this app (under Details) turns the checks off for good, for example when the flagged behavior is on purpose.

Behind the Scenes

Checks ignore things that are not your app's fault, such as a login form correctly rejecting test details, a slow preview still starting up, or a problem in GenMB's own preview tools. Only errors your app can fix are shown.

See Security & Code Quality and SEO & Discoverability for the other checks that hand fixes to the chat.

FAQs

What is the health banner?▾
After you change your app, GenMB opens it in a test browser. If the app is really broken (a blank page, a page that will not load, or a crash), a short banner at the top of the editor says what happened and offers Fix now. Minor console noise never shows a banner.
What does Fix now do?▾
It sends the error to the chat, which fixes it, explains what it changed, and saves a new version you can undo. GenMB then tests the app again and only says Fixed when that check comes back clean.
Does Fix now cost credits?▾
No, when GenMB found the problem itself. Fix now on the banner is free for up to two tries on the same problem, in Agent Mode too, and the button says Free while it is. The one automatic fix GenMB runs right after it builds a new app is free as well. After two tries on the same problem, or when you use the Fix button on the preview or ask the chat yourself, a fix costs the same as any chat change (1 credit, or the Agent Mode price when Agent Mode is on).
Does GenMB ever change my app without asking?▾
No. GenMB only tests your app and tells you what it found. Code changes happen only when you ask, in the chat or with Fix now.
Can I turn the checks off?▾
Yes. Open Details on the banner, choose Stop checking this app, and confirm. GenMB stops testing that app and will not show the banner again.
Why does a new app have no health data?▾
The first check runs when you open the app in the editor, and again after each change. Until then there is nothing to show.
